Bio
Leslie Hudson-Tolles was born in Amherst NY, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS from the University of Bridgeport CT and earned her MS with additional postgraduate work in printmaking at Southern Connecticut State University. In 1991 Hudson-Tolles was named Art Educator of the Year (CT) and in 2001 she received The Distinguished Educators Award from the Connecticut Alliance for Arts Education
Hudson-Tolles studied pastel portraiture with Daniel Greene, NA., Greg Biolchini, PSA and Lisa Ober, PSA. Hudson-Tolles is a workshop presenter and teaches at The Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Sanctuary and The Cody County (WY) Guild of Artists as well as hosting sculptor/ instructor, Shelley Hunter (KY) as guest instructor in June at her Tolholm Studio.
Hudson-Tolles is a full time fine artist/art educator. She conducts adult art classes and workshops at her home studio in addition to teaching Art at Sacred Heart School in Salisbury, NC.
