Bio

Morgen Kilbourn, b 1973,  is an American sculptor living in central North Carolina. Morgen specializes in animals, with a heavy focus on horses. For decades her sculptures in all media have been exhibited and found homes both as fine art for museums and with private collectors around the world.
She also has been sought after for a few select commercial commissions for companies like Breyer in their more recent product lines as these companies work towards more realism and accuracy across all equine disciplines. Morgen is also a signature member with some of the most exclusive organizations for animal sculpture and equine sporting art, Society of Animal Artists, (S.A.A.) and American Academy of Equine Art (A.A.E.A).  She also and has served as an A.A.E.A board member, jurist and instructor.

As a specialist in details and action poses Morgen captures both the spirit and movement of all her animals with an uncanny accuracy.

While this work is not at the sculpture garden, it is for sale through Carolina Bronze Sculpture. If you are interested in purchasing one of the scuptures, contact Melissa Walker at [email protected].
